How do you prepare for Impact Fitness?

Staying positive is the key in life. You're the only one that controls your perception of your surroundings. You will often hear me say, “You do you and NOT to worry about anything else”.

What is mental wellness?

Mental wellness is the most important part of the holistic approach to Impact Fitness. It is easy to feel overwhelmed, stressed, or depressed. You can improve your mental wellness by reminding yourself of the small successes you have already achieved.

How much sleep do I need?

Sleep is an essential part of a healthy lifestyle. Your body goes into a rest state to repair itself to keep pushing forward. You need six to eight hours of sleep every night to ensure that your body gets the rest it needs. 

How do I maintain a healthy diet?

There are plenty of different diets available. However, you don't need to be looking at these because each individual is different.  Instead of looking at the next fad, look at how you can improve the quality of diet you are currently on. It's important to eat plenty of green vegetables, with a balance of protein and carbohydrates. Balance is key!

What if I do not like to exercise?

 It's important to stay active, whether it be a low impact workout or an intense strength training session. Staying active helps your body stay in the best condition, mitigating possible disease, and giving you the energy you need.

What is holistic fitness?

Holistic Fitness recognizes that your physical, mental and spiritual are all connected.
